I've been thinking about purchasing a new camera for a while now, however the digital SLR that I have my heart set on will cost me about 3 months worth of rent!! Looks like I'll be saving for quite a while. The good news is I've found a bargain that will be perfect for the mean time (I love you, ebay). And it takes film!! I've already downloaded the user manual and found a place that will develop the film... now I just have to try and wait patiently until it arrives in the post. I really don't know why I haven't thought about buying one of these cameras before. I loved using the old ones at school and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun with this one! So excited!!

I often come across pictures of Isabel Lucas and admire her style. I'm not saying she always gets it right, and I'm not a huge fan of her acting, but she seems to pull off the laid-back/hippy look so well. If you stick to your own personal style and wear it with confidence then I don't think you can go wrong, although it does help if you're beautiful and have great hair!!

Confession. I love Russh Magazine. It only comes out every 2 months and with about two weeks to go I'm usually hanging out for it! I think I've annoyed the newsagent lady on numerous occasions checking whether or not it's in the shop yet (hmmm... sounds kind of like an addiction). The fashion, photos and styling are always so beautiful and I love the 60's/70's feel spread throughout the pages.

Stevie Dance is one of the creative geniuses behind the magazine. She is Russh Magazine's fashion director and looks just as delightful as the mag. Now I'm on the hunt for a nude coloured silk shirt...

Furry Fur

I adore this fur vest by Isabel Marant. It looks so soft and cozy and the colours make it so different from every other fur out there. I like the pink better than the green. I would love this lovely bit of fur in my wardrobe however I've got a few problems...

1. I live in sunny QLD

2. I can't afford it

3. It won't fit (in the wardrobe)

Perhaps it'll be on ebay one day? Or I could do some DIY...

Oh and I thought I'd include a photo of the hat I'm loving at the moment. If I lived somewhere cold I'd definitely own one. Or maybe I could have one and make special trips out at night when it's cold just so I could wear it? Or get in a plane and go to the snow? Or maybe just visit Victoria?

I've been meaning to send my mum photos of this stylish lady's hair cut for a while now but just haven't quite got around to it. Seeing that today is Mother's Day I thought I'd post these pictures for her (happy Mother's Day mum!).
